TD365 Review: Account Types

TD365 offers three different account types for traders:

Single Currency Spread Trading (SCT)

Trade global financial markets using’s single currency account, where there is no currency conversion like a typical CFD account. As an example, if you open a EURO account and trade the Wall St 30 index, you will be trading in EUR per point, not USD per point (as the Wall St 30 is a US-based product). No more FX conversion fees!

This account is designed for individual, retail traders who have a minimum account balance of $100 at any time.


This account allows clients to trade on the popular MT4 platform, with low but variable spreads 24/5.

Demo Account has a free, one-click demo account that traders can use to practise their trading, test strategies and get a feel for the TD365 trading system. This demo account is preloaded with $10,000 virtual funds.

Who Are TD365 Regulated By? is a registered business name of Trade Nation Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Securities Commission of the Bahamas (Registration Number 203493 B).

This Bahamas-regulated entity has a sister company in Australia called TradeDirect365, which is regulated by ASIC in Australia under its AFSL (number 422661).

TD365 Leverage

Due to being regulated by the SCB in the Bahamas, TD365 can offer generous leverage of up to 1:200.

This differs from many brokers who are restricted by ASIC, the FCA and ESMA on offering leverage of greater than 1:30, and is a real point of difference alongside their low spreads.

TD365 leverage is the same across their in-house built CloudTrade platform and the popular MT4 platform (1:200), although it may vary across differing markets. Deposits & Withdrawals with

Bank Transfer

Clients can deposit and withdraw funds from TD365 through bank (wire) transfer. Bank transfers are slower than other methods and it can take 3-5 business days for the funds to be returned to your bank account. TD365 do not a charge for international bank transfers, although your local bank may so please check first.

Credit & Debit Cards

You can deposit using your credit or debit card with, however only cards issued by Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. Card deposits are typically reflected on your trading account instantly. Australian dollars, US dollars, British pounds, Danish Krona and Euros can be used for payments. TD365 does not charge any fees for credit or debit card transactions but there may be underlying charges from the card company.

POLi Internet Banking

Clients can use PoliPay to make deposits on their trading account and these are usually instant. However, it is restricted to Australian residents only (and the Australian Dollar only)

CloudTrade Spread Trading Platform

The in-house built CloudTrade platform is the proprietary trading platform developed and owned by Finsa Europe Ltd. It comes in two versions: web-based and mobile trading application. The web-based internet version does not require any downloading; all you need is an internet connection and away you go. The mobile app is designed for iPhone and Android devices, and these apps can be downloaded from the app store (search “”).

The CloudTrade system is very simple and easy-to-use, with an intuitive interface that can be customised. Clients can access a free charting package powered by ChartIQ and find 15 different chart styles, timeframes from tick-by-tick to 1 month per candle. There are also over 80 technical indicators and 30+ drawing tools available on the charts.

Clients can trade Indices, FX commodities, differentials, stocks and cryptocurrencies on this platform.

MetaTrader 4 Platform

TD365 offers  traders the ability to also trade on the world’s most popular trading platform, MetaTrader 4 (MT4). The benefits of MT4 are long and well-known, and mixing that with TD365’s low variable spreads, gives traders a great, all-round trading option if the CloudTrade system is not for them.
